Before the birth of Kaladin Stormblessed and the war at the great Shattered Plains, we explore what came before. In the Heraldic Epoch, where the Silver Kingdoms stood at their peak, desolations existed as the natural ebb and flow of Roshar. Our story begins at the end of the world, where the forces of Odium clash against humanity in a brutal fight for survival to create the latest Desolation. Follow our 3 players in their journey across Roshar as they must navigate the cost of war and learn what it takes to rebuild something new. Nazir, a soldier of Alethela. Luka, a hunter of the Horneater Peaks. Pako, a survivor of the rising nation of Herdaz. In Episode 1, Nazir finds himself the same as most days, fighting, fighting and fighting more. But his days as a soldier may change as a herald and thunderclast join in the fun. Pako aims to help a village survive the desolations and suffers a grievous wound as a result. The dim violet moon of Salas, being the last image he sees as unconscious, takes hold. Luka, a simple hunter, seeks the great prey of adventure. Unfortunately she is stuck at home, where battle has not reached her doorstep. Future friends and foes alike will meet at a great gathering of radiants, where their destinies will change the fate of Roshar.
